In Jhelum, the imam of a mosque was caught red-handed trying to rape an innocent 6-year-old girl.
In the videos that have surfaced on social media, it can be seen that people are cleaning their hands on the accused Imam Masjid. People took off the accused's shirt, washed him thoroughly and took him out in full procession in the city and then handed him over to the police.
In a video released from police custody, accused Jamshed Iqbal pleaded guilty and said he took the girl to a room and was about to rape her when people caught her. The accused was the imam of Qaim Din Mosque in Jhelum. He belongs to Layyah district of South Punjab.
