In the schedule of the mega event, special care has been taken for the comfort of the players of all the teams and it has also been taken care that the matches will be scheduled according to the timing of the teams in the country. The 2018 FIFA World Cup was Croatia's most memorable event. The Under Dog Croatian team performed amazingly, knocking the big teams to the ground and making it to the finals of the event.

The final was played at the Moscow Football Stadium in Russia, in which France defeated Croatia to win the World Cup. Out of the 32 teams participating in the festival four years later, the French players proved themselves to be the winners of the world title. Russia not only hosted the FIFA World Cup 2018, but also started a new tradition in the world of football by giving millions of fans around the world the opportunity to watch the event on Fan ID.

The final ceremony was extended to four months by inviting heads of state from different countries, FIFA officials and football legends from around the world. The World Cup in Russia is undoubtedly a historic event. The performance of the Croatian team, which had excelled in the tournament, and the big teams being eliminated from the tournament, every precaution was being taken to predict the victory of the teams of France and Croatia before the final of the tournament. The Croatian team's performance up to the semi-finals indicated that they would also set up against France in the final, but France took full advantage of their lack of experience and mistakes and hit the ground running.

The World Cup 2018 football tournament was a surprise in which the biggest upset was defended by defending champions Germany. The team was eliminated from the event at an early stage. At the same time, nothing good has happened to the biggest football teams in the world.

Teams from Argentina, Portugal, Spain and Brazil were also eliminated from the tournament without reaching the semi-finals. Brazil and Belgium were considered the top favorite teams in the tournament, but Belgium first knocked Brazil out of the tournament and then lost to France in the semi-finals. Surprisingly, the performance of the Russian team, which made it to the tournament as the host country, was commendable.

The team's performance in front of the home ground and home crowd will be remembered for a long time. On the other hand, the important news is that the international football organization FIFA has announced to hold the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Colombia had bid for the event, but a joint bid was accepted against Colombia. Brazil and Japan had already announced their withdrawal from the host race earlier this month. For the first time, 32 women's teams will take part in the 2023 World Cup.

Prior to this, until the 2019 World Cup in France, 24 teams were participating in the Women's World Cup. The Women's World Cup will be played between July and August 2023. FIFA president Gianni Infantino says the World Cup was a tough competition for bidding. We are grateful to both the successful bidding countries for their extraordinary bidding. Their willingness to bid together was a great answer.

Australia and New Zealand's bid received 22 votes out of 35 members of the FIFA Council, while Colombia received 13 votes. Greg Clarke, chairman of the Football Association, and eight members of the UEFA voted for Colombia. Infantino expressed surprise that Colombia was voted in by UEFA members.
