A group supplying drugs to Dr Maha, who allegedly committed suicide in the Defense area of Shar-e-Quaid, was arrested.
According to ARY News, a group supplying drugs to Dr Maha was arrested by the police. Drugs were also recovered from the possession of the four arrested accused.
Police said that 42 boxes of cocaine, hashish and a motorcycle were recovered from the accused. The accused are involved in online supply of drugs in Karachi. The arrested accused Saadullah had supplied cocaine to the suicidal doctor Maha.
Police said that the accused were caught during the investigation of the suicide case of Dr. Maha Ali. Accused Saadullah said that 13 to 15 thousand were received for one gram of cocaine delivery.
It is to be noted that a new twist came in this case yesterday when at the request of Dr. Maha Shah's father Asif Ali Shah, the court had constituted a medical board in connection with the exhumation of Dr. Maha Shah. He termed the incident a suicide and all the evidence was collected on the basis of suicide, but the case needs to be investigated at all levels.
The court said that the date for exhumation of Dr Maha would be fixed later.
It is to be noted that accused Junaid, Waqas, Irfan Qureshi and others are nominated in this case. On September 21, accused Junaid and Waqas had fled the court room after bail was denied in Dr Maha case. Dr Maha's father has also expressed fears that accused Junaid may flee the country. He had filed a case against Junaid, Waqas and Dr Irfan for his daughter's suicide.
