Court orders surrender of Nawaz Sharif.

 

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued an order to surrender Nawaz Sharif in the Avonfield reference and summoned him on September 10. The court remarked that it was not yet declaring Nawaz Sharif a fugitive. I give an opportunity to appear before the court in whatever condition Nawaz Sharif is in. The court has separated the case of Maryam Nawaz and Captain Safdar from Nawaz Sharif. Hearing on the appeals of Maryam Nawaz and Muhammad Safdar in Avonfield reference on September 23.

During the hearing on the appeal against Nawaz Sharif's conviction in the Avonfield reference, Justice Amir Farooq remarked that it would be on merit to declare Nawaz Sharif a fugitive. ۔ Justice Mohsin Khattar Kayani remarked that Nawaz Sharif would have to appear.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked that it is your responsibility to explain why Nawaz Sharif is on the run. Nawaz Sharif will have to appear in court for the hearing of the appeal. If Nawaz Sharif is a fugitive, he can be sentenced to 3 years imprisonment. Fleeing from appearing in the trial or appeal is also a crime.

Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard Nawaz Sharif's plea for exemption from attendance in the Avonfield reference in the Islamabad High Court. During which Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Captain Safdar appeared in the court.

The court inquired that there is a rush in the court. Khawaja Harris told the court that he had difficulty in reaching the court. Giving arguments, Khawaja Harris said that in Avon Field Reference, Nawaz Sharif was granted bail on merit, Nawaz Sharif went abroad for treatment, the reasons for not returning are written in the petition.

The court inquired whether Nawaz Sharif was on bail at the moment or not. The court was told that the Punjab government had rejected Nawaz Sharif's bail application. The court said that Nawaz Sharif should not have surrendered in the court after the bail expired.

Khawaja Harris said that Nawaz Sharif's case is unique, I will inform him in detail if he does not surrender to the court, Nawaz Sharif had diseases which are not treated in Pakistan. After reviewing the disease, Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif guaranteed recovery.

Justice Amir Farooq asked Khawaja Harris to tell the court what would happen next. The court remarked that declaring Nawaz Sharif a fugitive would also be on merit. ۔ Justice Mohsin Khattar Kayani remarked that Nawaz Sharif would have to appear.

Justice Amir Farooq remarked that the decision of the Lahore High Court had nothing to do with bail or suspension of sentence. The decision of suspension of bail and sentence was given by the Islamabad High Court. We are here to regulate the sentence suspension and bail case.

Justice Amir Farooq while remarking said that Nawaz Sharif's bail was conditional and for a specific period of time. The Lahore High Court had to give its verdict within the limits of the decision of the Islamabad High Court.

The Deputy Attorney General told the court that he had not received any instructions. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked that the federal government should have known that the court had to be informed. Did the Pakistan High Commission take a report on Nawaz Sharif? Justice Amir Farooq remarked that we are not declaring Nawaz Sharif a fugitive at this time. How can an appeal be heard without Nawaz Sharif? Give arguments? Will be?

 The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought arguments from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Nawaz Sharif's bail. NAB opposes Nawaz Sharif's request for exemption from attendance and says in court that Nawaz Sharif's request for exemption from attendance is inadmissible
