ASF man killed by scorpion bite at Karachi airport

 


A young man of Airport Security Force was killed by a scorpion bite near the runway of Karachi Airport.

According to ASF spokesman Col. Usman Tanveer Tafsir, the tragic incident took place on September 12 near the runway of Karachi Airport where ASF personnel were on security duty at the camp along with Nadeem Runway.

According to Usman Tanveer, after the recent rains, grass is growing spontaneously around the runway of Karachi Airport, which is being destroyed. 

According to the spokesman, Mohammad Nadeem was rushed to the hospital and was given medical treatment to prevent the spread of poison. Later, when his condition deteriorated, he was given more than a dozen drips during treatment.

Muhammad Nadeem's condition improved somewhat with the application of drips, but by the grace of God he died on September 17. Nadeem, a native of Larkana, was buried in his native village.

According to the ASF spokesperson, this is an accidental incident. The agency tried its best to save the life of the officer but God willing.

He said that the officers of the concerned department of the agency were in touch with the affected family and all possible help was being given to them.
