Users are angry over the sudden end of Hassan Minhaj's 'Patriot Act' on Netflix

After 6 thrilling seasons, Netflix abruptly ended the prime time comedy talk show Patriot Act, much to the surprise and dismay of fans.

In this regard, the host Hassan Minhaj said goodbye to the fans of the Patriot Act on the social networking website Twitter.

Hassan Minhaj said in his tweet that the Patriot Act has come to an end, I had the opportunity to work with the best writers, producers, researchers and animators.

"During this time, my two children were born and grew up with the show," he added, thanking Netflix and viewers.

On this tweet of Hassan Minhaj, the fans expressed surprise, sadness and anger who not only considered the show good because of the social commentary but also considered the representation of the Indian-origin Muslim host in it important and necessary.

The Twitter user wrote that he did not understand why Netflix closed a show that covered social and political issues that are not often shown in mainstream media.

Another user wrote that Hassan Minhaj is the only comedian in South Asia who has never used fake accent while imitating his father. He does not belong to our community but makes jokes for him.

The Twitter user lamented the end of the show on Netflix.

One user wrote that world leaders forced Netflix to do so because they could not deal with it.

At the end of the show, a user expressed his views and wrote that the show was ended because Hassan Minhaj and his team took risks and made people uncomfortable which was too much for Netflix.

Remember that the Patriot Act started in 2018 which consisted of seasons and so far 39 episodes have been aired.

A year before the launch of this show, Hassan Minhaj had hosted a function of the White House Association of Journalists which was appreciated.

The Patriot Act has been awarded various honors, including P Body, Emmy for Outstanding Design.

Despite the end of the show, its current 39 episodes will be available for streaming on Netflix.
