Two crude gold stones discovered during excavations in Australia.

In Australia: Two gold miners in South Australia have unearthed two pieces of raw gold worth $2.5 million during excavations.

According to the American Broadcasting Corporation, Brent Shannon and Ethan West have been working hard to find gold. The two campaigned in the town of Tarnagla, Victoria, famous for its gold reserves. The campaign was featured on Discovery Channel's TV show "Ozzy Gold Hunters".

The two pieces of gold discovered by Brent Shannon and Ethan West look like golden stones at first glance and both weigh a total of about three and a half kilograms, valued at $2.5 million.

Ethan West, a gold-mining expedition, told CCN that he dug into the area with his knowledge and experience and began searching for gold with the help of metal detectors, a metal detection tool. What's more, two amazing pieces were discovered in one day.


Most of the people living in the Australian town of Tarnagla are gold seekers who have migrated here from other countries. Formal gold mining here started in 1850 and it has become an important sector in the country today. The stones were discovered
