Turkey warns Greece over Mediterranean gas reserves

 

Turkish President Tayab Erdogan has said that Greece would have to pay a heavy price if its navy, which is exploring for energy in the Mediterranean, was attacked.

According to media reports, at a time when relations between Greece and Turkey are strained over the search for energy reserves in the Eastern Mediterranean, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned Greece to escalate tensions.

"We have told Greece that if you attack our Iroquois, you will have to pay a heavy price," he told members of his AKP party.
