Li Jingzhi, from China, spent nearly three decades searching for her abducted son, who was abducted in 1988 and has lost all hope of reuniting with her.
Lee Jung-zhi said that Mao Yen was her only son and in October 1988, her son was 2 years and 8 months old and her husband had gone to pick her up from kindergarten.

Li Jingzhi says this was a time when child abductions and trafficking were rampant in China.
She said that with the passage of time, she had lost all hope of meeting her son and she felt that she would not have him again.
But on May 10, 2020, International Mother's Day, she received a call from the Xi'an Public Security Bureau that changed her life and informed her that she had found her son.
"I couldn't believe my son was back after 32 years, and I was afraid he would recognize me," said Lee.
Lee Jung-zhi was later reunited with his son, who was sold to a couple 32 years ago for 840.
