The first ship of Euro 5 petrol arrived in Pakistan

 

ISLAMABAD: The first ship of Euro 5 petrol has arrived in Pakistan. The eco-friendly high quality petrol will be available across the country next month and will be supplied to the smog-affected areas first.

According to the details, lobbying of certain mafia and petroleum companies failed miserably, import of Euro 5 petrol was started for the first time in Pakistan, first shipment of PSO reached Karachi with Euro 5 petrol, environment friendly high quality petrol is coming. The month will be available nationwide. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Environment Malik Amin Aslam said that the first ship of Euro 5 petrol has arrived in Pakistan, Euro 5 will be available at PS petrol pumps in next 10 to 15 days. The Special Assistant for Environment said that the Federal Cabinet has been informed about the availability of petrol from September 1. The Prime Minister has decided that 70% of imported petrol will be only Euro 5. Malik Amin Aslam said that no other quality petrol would be allowed to be imported after September 1. Despite the 10 times improvement in quality, there would be no difference in the price of petrol. The Prime Minister and Cabinet took a historic decision despite obstacles. He said that certain lobbying wanted Euro 5 not to come to Pakistan, Euro 5 petrol coming to Pakistan would increase the pressure on other oil companies, oil companies would have to improve their production quality. The Special Environment Assistant added that the petrol would be supplied to the smog-affected areas first.
