Asian comedian legend Omar Sharif, who put smiles on the faces of all of us, wept as he described the greatest grief of his life.

In an interview with host Waseem Badami on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha on ARY News, Omar Sharif mentioned the death of his daughter Hira Sharif and became emotional.

"I was in the United States for a program. During the shooting, I was informed that my daughter was in a very bad condition. I immediately left everything and prepared to come to Pakistan," he said.

Omar Sharif said that when I arrived in Pakistan, the people who came to pick me up at Lahore airport said that Omar Bhai was very sorry and I asked him why.

As soon as I found out that Mehri's daughter Ibn was no more in this world, I fainted. Since this incident, I have become more and more dizzy.

She said that she had a lung problem, followed by a heart attack, but she died with the same problem.

It should be noted that Umar Sharif's daughter Hira Umar passed away in Lahore on February 18, 2020. Actor Umar Sharif was not informed about the death of his daughter, he was only informed that his daughter was unwell.

Omar Sharif was informed of Hira's ill health in the United States. Hearing of his daughter's ill health, Omar Sharif had canceled his scheduled program in the United States and he reached Lahore on a private flight that night.

Sources said that actor Omar Sharif's daughter Hira Sharif was suffering from a kidney infection and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Lahore.
