Rupee appreciates against dollar.

The Pakistani rupee has once again strengthened against the US dollar, resulting in a decline in the value of the dollar in the interbank and open markets.

On Thursday, the dollar depreciated by one rupee to close at Rs 167.43. Similarly, in the open currency market, the dollar depreciated by one rupee, as a result of which the open market rate of the dollar fell to close at Rs 168.

Experts say that Pakistan's satisfactory foreign exchange reserves and positive signs in economic indicators are having a positive impact on the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market.

In addition, the US dollar depreciated against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market on Thursday due to record inflows of remittances, current account deficit turning into surplus and averting of external account crisis.

On the other hand, due to torrential rains, rain and sewage water entered the shopping malls and the city's bullion and barter markets could not open and business activities remained suspended.
