Bollywood actor Sushant Singh committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at his residence in Mumbai on June 14 and an autopsy report also attributed his death to apparent suicide.
However, the issue of his suicide is becoming more complicated with the passage of time and new revelations are coming to light day by day.
Actor Rhea Chakraborty, who is now facing allegations and investigation into Sushant Singh's death, has said in various interviews to Indian media that the allegations against him are baseless and that he did not take a single rupee from the actor.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Rhea Chakraborty spoke about the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and said that the allegations against him were completely baseless.
The actress also said that she would like to know what happened to Sushant Singh Rajput between June 8 and June 14 when she was not with him.
He asked this question to Mito Singh, elder sister of Sushant Singh Rajput, who was with the actor from June 8 to 13. Whether Sushant Singh Rajput's death was due to suicide or a hoax, Rhea Chakraborty said, "I also want to know what happened between June 8 and 14. I had no contact with him. I was not there."
The actress said that Sushant's sister Mito was there, I want to know from her whether what happened during that time was suicide or something else.
Rhea Chakraborty said that was the reason why he had demanded a CBI inquiry before the FIR was registered in Patna.
"I wanted a CBI inquiry as I was unclear about the week before Sashant's death," he said.
"Even though I want justice for Sushant but I am confused, it has been made a joke that is why I want a CBI inquiry," she added.
Explaining the reason for supporting the probe into the case by a 'higher body' like the CBI, Rhea Chakraborty said it should be so that the truth about the death of Sushant Singh Rajput came to light.
On the other hand, in an interview given to a channel regarding the investigation against him, Rhea Chakraborty said that it is very painful by someone (Sushant's father), I loved his son, take care of him. Used to
"It's really difficult. My whole family, including me, is being scrutinized. There is a crowd outside the gate of my house," she added.
"What are you guys doing with my family?" He asked. Why can't you wait for the results to come?
The actress further said that we have confidence in the system, that is why we are alive, otherwise we would have committed suicide, my father served in the army for 25 years, all this is destroying the mental health of my family.
"I have never talked to a dealer or taken drugs in my life. I am ready for a blood test," said Rhea Chakraborty.
"Whatever I say will be misunderstood," he added. "Sushant's family has opened a Pandora's box."
The actress also said that Sushant Singh Rajput used to take hashish and I tried to stop him.
"The allegations against him are completely baseless and he never took a single rupee from Sushant Singh but we had a company in which we were equal owners," Riya Chakraborty said.
"The Mumbai police were very strict, the enforcement directorate was strict and so will the CBI. I want the truth to come out but not by targeting me," he added.
Following the remarks on Shashant Singh's death, users on the social networking site Twitter were divided in support and opposition to Riya Chakraborty.
