Personal law board angry over land worship.

New Delhi: On the one hand, worship and rituals are being performed for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Meanwhile, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board has issued a statement saying that the Babri Masjid will always remain a mosque. Aggressive occupation does not end reality. The statement was issued by Maulana Wali Rahmani, General Secretary of the Board. The decision of the Supreme Court is cruel and unjust. Maulana Wali Rahmani appealed to the Muslims not to be disappointed and said that for a long time Baitullah Sharif was also the center of idol worship. Citing the example of Aya Mosque in Turkey, Maulana Wali Rahmani said that no matter how bad the situation is, we should not be disappointed.

Earlier, a detailed statement was issued by the Muslim Personal Law Board. A temple is being laid at the site of the Babri Masjid. The All India Muslim Personal Law Board considers it necessary to reiterate its long-held position that "once a mosque is established in the light of Islamic law, it remains a mosque until the Day of Judgment." Allah will continue to be a mosque. Placing idols in a mosque, starting a puja pot or banning prayers for a long time does not end the status of a mosque.

Maulana Muhammad Wali Rahmani, General Secretary, All India Muslim Personal Law Board, said in a press statement that it has always been our position that the Babri Masjid was not built by demolishing any temple or any Hindu place of worship. Alhamdulillah, the Supreme Court in its decision (November 2019) confirmed our position. The apex court also said that the artefacts found in the excavations under the Babri Masjid belonged to a 12th century building. That is 400 years before the construction of Babri Masjid. Therefore, no temple was demolished and a mosque was built. The Supreme Court has clearly stated that prayers have been held in Babri Masjid till the night of December 22, 1949. The Supreme Court also held that placing the statues in the mosque on December 22, 1949 was an illegal and unconstitutional act. The Supreme Court in its judgment also acknowledges that the martyrdom of Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992 was an illegal, unconstitutional and criminal act. Sadly, after acknowledging all these clear facts, the court in a very unjust decision handed over the land of the mosque to those who had placed idols in it in a criminal manner and committed its martyrdom.

The General Secretary of the Board further said in his statement that no matter how bad the situation is, we should not lose heart and put our trust in Allah. One should create the mood to live in the opposite situation. Circumstances are not always the same. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): So we don't have to be frustrated or overwhelmed. The example of the Aya Sufi Mosque in Istanbul is a telling picture of this verse. I appeal to the Muslims of India not to tolerate the decision of the Supreme Court and the construction of a temple on the land of a mosque. We must also remember this. The Kaaba, the world center of monotheism and the house of God, has long been a center of polytheism and idolatry. Eventually, after the conquest of Makkah, it became the center of monotheism again through the beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Inshallah, we fully expect that not only Babri Masjid but this entire garden will be filled with the song of Tawhid. It is our responsibility to repent of our mistakes at such a critical juncture, to correct our morals and character, to make our home and society religious, and to move forward with full courage in the face of adversity.
