New wave of Corona cases in New Zealand, lockdown in Auckland.

 

Following the recent Corona wave in New Zealand, the government imposed a lockdown in Auckland, the largest city. Authorities say the lockdown could be extended for three days if needed.

More than 100 days after Corona's relocation was stopped locally in New Zealand, Corona has once again raised its head. In the last 24 hours, 17 more Corona cases have been reported in 13 communities, bringing the number of active cases to 36. After new cases of corona came to light, the government has warned that corona cases could increase if precautions are not taken.

New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has said that as seen in the past, Corona stops spreading rapidly and hopes that this will happen again. It is believed that Corona was confirmed by four members of a family in Auckland on Tuesday. And so far 22 people have died from corona in New Zealand.
