Kabul rocket attacks resound on Afghanistan's Independence Day, with fears of casualties.

On Afghanistan's Independence Day, 14 rockets were fired from an unknown location in a sensitive and diplomatic area of ​​the capital, which shook the entire region.

According to Afghan media, Independence Day celebrations were going on across the country and President Ashraf Ghani was to address an official ceremony in Kabul when a rocket hit the diplomatic area and in a few minutes 14 rockets were fired from different parts of Kabul's Red Security Zone. They came to places.

The rocket attacks were so severe that the whole area shook and the windows of the buildings shattered. Chaos and stampede ensued, injuring dozens. The target of the rocket attack is unknown, but there are fears of casualties.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and rescue workers are on the scene. 24 injured have been brought to the hospital from different parts of the capital, out of which 4 are said to be in critical condition.

No militant group, including students, has claimed responsibility for the attack. Security sources said that the rockets were fired from two suspicious vehicles moving in the area which could not be identified.
