Great news, new oil and gas reserves discovered in Pakistan.

New oil and gas reserves have been discovered in Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

OGDCL says that 9 MMSCFD gas and 125 barrels of oil per day can be extracted from Togh Bala Well No. 1 in Kohat. This is the second consecutive success in oil and gas exploration in Kohat block. Officials say, the success of Tugh Bala Well No. 1 is the result of a brilliant exploration strategy.

It may be recalled that oil and gas reserves were also discovered from Kohat in July. 16.12 MMCFD gas and 3240 barrels of condensate oil per day are being extracted from the reserves.
