More than a year ago, Mark Kerberg unveiled a new design for Facebook.com and will soon replace the classic website design.
The new design for the desktop version of Facebook was introduced to users in May this year, but at that time it was left to the users to decide whether to adopt the new style or retain the old design.
But now the company has hinted that Facebook's classic design, the Blue theme, will be scrapped forever in September.
Dark mode is also provided in this redesigned website or desktop version.
The design was also tested on a limited number of users earlier this year and was introduced in May.
The new design is very similar to the mobile app, and the company says it will make it easier to find features such as videos, games and groups, while the classic blue will now be replaced by white on the website.
Like the Facebook mobile app, the desktop website will now load faster than ever before, while the new design also makes it easier to create events, pages, groups and ads.
But the most important thing is the feature of dark mood which will help to reduce eye fatigue while it has also been declared suitable for reading text.
Earlier, WhatsApp had introduced Dark Mode in March. This mode is also present in Facebook Messenger.
