Exploitation Day



ISLAMABAD : Occupied Kashmir, Azad Kashmir and Pakistan will mark the one-year anniversary of the unilateral and illegal Indian move on August 5 last year as "Exploitation Day" today. A minute of silence will be observed in the whole of Pakistan today. The Modi government will be condemned all over the world for taking away the special status of occupied Kashmir and solidarity will be expressed with the oppressed Kashmiris.

Protests and rallies will be held in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan and around the world on the occasion of "Exploitation Day". A minute's silence will be observed by sounding the siren at 10 am. The President will address the media on Shahra-e-Dustur at 10:05 a.m. and special commemorative tickets will be issued. In addition, human hand chains will be made to show solidarity with Kashmiris. Islamabad's famous Kashmir Highway will be officially renamed as Srinagar Highway. Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the Azad Kashmir Assembly on the occasion of the day and participate in a solidarity walk. Senior Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani Shutter down has been called in the whole of occupied Kashmir in August. Kashmir Exploitation Day celebrations will expose India's unilateral and illegal move on August 5, 2019.
