The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the continent of Africa polio-free, after which only Pakistan and Afghanistan have the polio virus.
According to the details, one of the three polio-affected countries in the world, Africa, also had polio cases, after which the continent of Africa was declared polio-free.

Following the World Health Organization (WHO), the African Regional Certification Commission for Polio Eradication has also confirmed that 95 per cent of Africa's population is immune to polio after a long vaccination program.
It should be noted that now only Pakistan and Afghanistan have polio virus in the world and Pakistan has the highest number of polio cases. However, Pakistan's anti-polio campaign has achieved 95.3% of the target.
