Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has arrived in Saudi Arabia on a visit, where he met with senior Saudi officials in the capital Riyadh. The international news agency Reuters has now made a startling claim about the visit of General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

 The agency said in its report that the policy adopted by Saudi Arabia on the Kashmir issue had caused some tension in the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and the purpose of General Qamar Javed Bajwa's visit was to end the tension.

According to the report, a Pakistan Army spokesman said that "Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa's visit was mainly related to military matters." But Pakistani military and government officials told Reuters that "General Bajwa During the visit, the two countries will also try to reduce tensions over Kashmir, as Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves could be damaged if these tensions remain.

According to the report, Pakistan had repeatedly demanded Saudi Arabia to hold a high-level meeting to expose India's ongoing human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. The Saudi government was embarrassed by Pakistan's demand and had prematurely repaid the 2 billion loan given to Pakistan.
