Apple has removed thousands of games from its Chinese app store

American technology company Apple has removed thousands of games from its App Store in China.

According to a report by technology website The Verge, due to growing tensions between China and the United States, Apple has removed more than 47,000 games from the Chinese App Store.

Chinese partnership is required to run foreign app stores in China, but Apple is the only company that manages the app store on its iPhone.

According to the report, Apple has recently changed its policies to remove games from the App Store in China that are paid in advance or played online.

It should be noted that recently US President Donald Trump has banned commercial transactions from Chinese applications Tik Tok and VChat.

The US president has imposed sanctions on Chinese applications at a time when relations between the two countries are strained over the corona virus and a controversial law in Hong Kong.

The Chinese app, TickTalk, has been sharply criticized by US lawmakers as a threat to US national security, saying the app would allow the Chinese government to access US user data. It was denied by tik tok.
