A girl working with an NGO was allegedly blackmailed and raped by her partner. Crore Lal Aisan police registered a case on the girl's complaint.
The girl, a resident of Chak No. 54-ML, Dargah Khan Tehsil, Bhakkar District, worked for an NGO and lived on the upper floor of an office in Ward 9, Crore City.
According to the Dawn newspaper, the victim told Dawn that the accused was her office colleague with whom she had taken some private photos and videos.
The accused later raped her several times, threatening to release the photos and videos.
On the night of the incident, while the girl was sleeping, the accused came to her room with one of his companions.
The accused's accomplice pointed a gun at the girl and the accused raped her. Later, both the accused kept pressuring her to take her with them.
Hearing the girl's screams, the neighbors rushed to the spot and foiled the alleged abduction.
Following the girl's complaint, the police registered an FIR against the two accused under sections 376 and 292 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
In this regard, the investigating officer Kamran Azhar told Dawn that the medical report of the girl has confirmed the rape. Both the accused are absconding but they will be arrested soon.
Earlier, three suspects gang-raped a 14-year-old girl in Kot Ani Singh village of Daska Tehsil in Punjab.
The girl was later admitted to Daska Civil Hospital in critical condition.
A few days earlier, an 8-year-old girl was gang-raped by two men in Buttar Dogran Chananda village of Pasrur Tehsil and died at the hospital.
The girl was playing in front of the house when two suspects from the same village mixed some drugs in her juice and took her to a deserted building.
