After a successful mission, SpaceX brought the astronauts back to Earth safely.

The first US spacecraft to take astronauts to the International Space Station for nearly a decade has landed safely in the Gulf of Mexico.

According to foreign news agencies, this successful mission was a joint mission of NASA and SpaceX, which once again showed that the United States has the ability to send and take back astronauts into space.

So on Sunday at 2:48 pm local time, the spacecraft landed on the shores of Pensacola and the 4 main parachutes of the Space X Crew Dragon Endeavor began to float in the water with great ease.

It was the first time an American astronaut had landed on water since the 1975 Apollo Soyuz mission.

There were two astronauts aboard the spaceship, one of whom was Commander Bob Behnkin and the other its pilot, Do Hurley, who said it was a great honor for them.

Mike Hayman of SpaceX, who was in the control room, responded with a laugh, saying, "Welcome back to Earth from NASA and the SpaceX team, thank you for flying SpaceX."

The NASA administrator said that as soon as the plane landed, an unforeseen situation arose which could have jeopardized the operation.

He promised that better measures would be taken in the future and expressed happiness that the boats left safely.

A NASA video showed a large flag flying over the plane for President Donald Trump's campaign.

The opening of the egg-shaped capsule was later delayed because the team had to work to stop the vapors from escaping the rocket fuel.

An hour after landing, the astronauts were pulled out of the capsule, after which they will return to Houston with their families by helicopter and by ship.

US President Donald Trump, who two months ago flew to Florida exclusively during the flight of the capsule, praised his safe return.

"It is a great pleasure for NASA astronauts to return to Earth after a successful two-month mission," he wrote in a Twitter message.

It is thought to be the first time in 45 years that an American astronaut has landed in a commercial spacecraft.

The return paves the way for the launch of another SpaceX Crew, which could be launched next month.

It may be recalled that two months ago, for the first time in history, the United States sent two astronauts to the International Space Station almost a decade later by a rocket called Crew Dragon, a spacecraft of the private space research company SpaceX.

The historic joint venture between NASA and Asus X was inaugurated between May 30 and 31 at about 1:30 pm and the astronauts were launched into space from the Kennedy Space Center in the US state of Florida.

The spacecraft could carry a total of seven people, but only two astronauts, Bob Behnkin and Do Hurley, were sent in, along with equipment for the space station.
