An official report leaked in the UK has raised fears that the corona epidemic could reach 85,000 deaths in the country if it reaches its worst level this winter.
A report by the Scientific Advisory Group, which supports the government's plan, said that based on a model, there could be 81,000 additional deaths from the corona virus in England and Wales, while another 27,000 deaths could be due to other causes.
The report said the government's measures would only be 40 per cent effective, which could lead to the government closing schools and increasing other restrictions that could last until March next year.
The report goes on to say that all of this is not final, but is intended to help the government plan for the worst possible situation.
