2 earthquakes in 30 minutes in Khuzdar

 

Twice tremors were felt in Khuzdar district of Balochistan in 30 minutes. The magnitude of the quake was 5.4 for the first time and 4.9 for the second time.

According to the Seismological Center, the quake was felt at 3.40 pm. The magnitude of the quake was 5.4 and its depth was 25 km while its epicenter was 58 km northwest of Khuzdar.

The second tremor was felt at 4:09 a.m. with a magnitude of 4.9, the depth was 40 km and the epicenter was 68 km northwest of Khuzdar.

As soon as the tremors were felt, fear spread in the area and locals rushed out of their homes chanting the Kalima Tayyaba.
