160,000 new corona cases in three days



In the last 24 hours, a record number of new cases of corona have been reported in India, bringing the total number of affected people to 1.7 million.

A report on an Arab website quoted data released by the Indian Ministry of Health as saying that 57,118 more cases had been recorded in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 764 more people have died from the deadly disease. As a result, the death toll has risen to 36,511.

It may be recalled that in the last three days, about 160,000 cases have come to light.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, corona tests have been performed on more than 19.3 million people in India so far. Thus, the positive rate of Corona in the country is more than eight and a half percent.

It should be noted that there are more than 17.7 million Corona patients worldwide. The deadly virus has claimed the lives of more than 683,000 people, while more than 111,000 people have succumbed to the virus.

After more than 70,000 cases in the United States, the number of patients has risen to more than 4.7 million. Which is the highest number of any country.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has suspended further easing of sanctions for two weeks as cases escalate in the UK.

A 15-day state of emergency has been declared in the Okinawa prefecture of Japan following the rise in corona cases, and people have been instructed to stay indoors.
