Andhra Pradesh: A fire broke out in a temporary hospital for the treatment of corona virus in India, killing 10 patients.
According to Indian media reports, the fire broke out at the Sorna Palace Hotel in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India, where a temporary care center for Corona patients was set up.
According to the report, the fire broke out in Sorna Palace due to a short circuit as a result of which 10 patients were killed while several others were injured.
According to police officials, the fire broke out at the Corona Center at 5 am and 30 people were present at the time of the accident, which may lead to an increase in casualties.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed regret over the incident and directed to provide all possible assistance to the victims. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has also announced to give Rs 5 million to the families of those killed in the accident.
It should be noted that at present, India ranks third in the world in cases of corona virus, where the total number of patients is 2,156,443, while the number of deaths is 43,488.
