Young girls went down a fast river to take a selfie, what happened next?

In the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, two girls lost their lives when they went down the river in a perfect selfie and got stuck in the fast flowing water.

In Chhandwara district, a group of 8 college girls had come to Afanti river to have a picnic. If even the friends standing outside could not help, the local administration and police were informed.

The administration, with the help of locals, carried out a timely rescue operation and pulled the two girls out of the ditch. The video of this incident has also gone viral on social media in which it can be seen how two young girls are standing in the fast waves of the river holding each other in fear.
