Operation against terrorists in Miranshah, 4 Pak Army soldiers martyred

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), "Pakistan Army has launched an operation against terrorist hideouts in Vizda, 8 km from Boya area of ​​Miranshah in North Waziristan District."

According to ISPR, "the troops had cordoned off the area and the terrorists started firing but the security forces eliminated all the terrorists."

The Pakistan Army said in a statement that "four soldiers were also martyred during the exchange of fire. The area was later cleared."

According to ISPR, the martyred soldiers have been identified as Cop Muhammad Ismail Khan, Cop Muhammad Shahbaz Khan Yaseen, Cop Raja Waheed Ahmed and Cop Rizwan Khan.

It may be recalled that on May 8, two Pakistan Army personnel were martyred in a rocket attack on a security check post in Miranshah area.

Earlier in April, 10 security personnel were killed and six wounded in militant attacks in North Waziristan District during the month.

On April 26, two Pakistani soldiers were martyred and nine terrorists were killed during an operation by security forces against terrorists in North Waziristan.

Earlier, on April 14, a military official was martyred by terrorists during a security forces operation in North Waziristan.

On April 11, two security personnel were martyred and seven militants were killed in an exchange of fire near Mir Ali Tehsil in North Waziristan.

Earlier on April 8, security forces killed seven terrorists in an operation in the North Waziristan and Mohmand tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Security forces had launched an operation against terrorists in North Waziristan on March 19, during which four youths, including a Pakistani army officer, were martyred and seven terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire.

A statement issued by the ISPR said, "Security forces raided Mama Ziarat on a verified tip-off about the presence of terrorists near Datta Khel in North Waziristan District."
