Mukesh Ambani became the sixth richest person in the world

Mukesh Ambani, India's richest man and owner of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), became the sixth richest man in the world.

According to data released by Bloomberg Blainer Index (BBI), Mukesh Ambani has surpassed American computer scientist Larry Page to become the sixth richest person in the world.

According to the latest Bloomberg Blainer Index report, Mukesh Ambani's assets have reached 72 72.4 billion after an increase of Rs 160 million in total value.

In terms of value, Mukesh Ambani is behind American businessman Steve Ballmer with assets worth 72 72.6 billion, which is the fifth richest person in the world.

This richest man in Asia was not really so rich in the past but Mukesh's father Dhirobai Ambani worked at a petrol pump and from there went to Aden and then came to India and set up his own business.

The family now lives in the world's most expensive house, competing only with Buckingham Palace in London, which is why the Ambani family owns the world's most expensive house.

Mukesh Ambani's company is the world's largest polyester producer, while several other businesses are separate.
