Hong Kong-based virus specialist Dr Li Mingyan told Fox News that she wanted to tell the outside world the real facts and warn them about the dangers of this particular virus. If she had tried to tell these facts in China, when would she have "disappeared"?

According to Pakistan Daily, Dr. Yan said that doctors close to him in mainland China, who know everything about the virus, had told him to come to the knowledge of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the outside world. The transmission of the virus from human to human began in China long before. The Chinese government was hiding these facts and the research it carried out on the virus in the laboratory where it was working was sent to higher authorities by its supervisors, but it was completely ignored. The doctor said in a TV interview that at the end of 2019, his supervisor asked him to investigate cases of viruses such as the old SARS, which came from mainland China. The Chinese government did not allow experts from Hong Kong and the outside world to visit the Chinese mainland. So he had to get information from his close friends there.

The doctor said he was told to remain silent and not to pursue his research. After fleeing, he was chased by cyber-attacks and his family members were harassed. Upon arrival in Los Angeles, the doctors requested that he not be sent back or he would be killed. The FBI is investigating the doctors' claims.
