A prostitution den was seized at the hotel

Chandigarh : Police arrested 10 girls in Chandigarh, the capital of the Indian state of Punjab and Haryana.

A prostitution den was being set up in a hotel in Sector 25 of Chandigarh City. When the police found out about it, they sent a fake customer and raided it after verification.

During the raid, 10 girls were arrested from different rooms of the hotel, besides 4 other people including the hotel manager were also arrested. Police say the arrested girls include girls from other cities, including Chandigarh, who have been involved in the business for a long time.

Five personnel of the concerned outpost have been lined up at the illegal brothel in the hotel. They include Munshi Brijesh of the outpost, Pawan Kumar, the head constable in charge of the beat box, and a staff constable.
