Potentially Habitable Earth-Sized World in Star's 'Goldilocks' Zone is discovered



NASA's space telescope, the Transiting Agzo Plant Survey satellite (TES), has discovered a planet about 101 light-years away from Earth, seemingly not only as our Earth, but It is in the same region around its star that life can exist and it can also rise.

Such an area around the star is called "habitable", meaning that life can not only exist but also decompose evolutionary. The first condition of life on any planet is termed "water in liquid state"; and on the planet called "TOI700D", liquid water is also expected to exist.


Although it is 70% larger than our Earth, its size can be only 19% to 30% higher than Earth. It is located at such a distance from its star that water can also be found in a liquid state while living.


It is also clear that the "TES" telescope is the first Earth-like planet to be discovered. This telescope has been sent into space to find planets around other stars, especially in our cosmic neighborhood, and is capable of finding new planets, laying the groundwork for the slightest reduction in the light of a star.

The final exploration of the TOI700D has also made this space finder recognized, and now it will take the task of finding the planet in space much better and faster. It should be noted that TSS was sent into space in April 2018, with the initial part of the mission expected to be completed in the next few months.
  

Although it was hoped that within two years of reaching its orbit, the telescope would discover more than 20,000 extra-solar planets, but contrary to our expectations, the space telescope has so far discovered only about 1,400 planets. The discovery of a planet that resembles the Earth in such a way has once again illuminated the hopes associated with the "TES" project.
