Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif, while interviewing
Turkish media, welcomed Prime Minister Imran Khan's attempt to mediate between
Iran and Saudi Arabia.
He said that Saudi Arabia and Iran have no choice but to
negotiate with each other, be it direct or through a mediator, Iran is ready
for it.
Arbitration between Iran and Saudi Arabia: The Prime
Minister will leave for a one-day visit on Sunday
Jawad Zarif said, "We have never denied any mediator,
we are always ready for arbitration or direct negotiation with neighboring
Saudi Arabia."
The Iranian Foreign Minister said that Saudi Arabia is a
neighboring country and we are always with each other, the doors are open for
talks with Saudi Arabia.
On the question of Iran's biggest enemy in the region, the
Iranian Foreign Minister said that Israel is the biggest threat in the region
because the Zionist state has nuclear weapons and is not involved in any
international ammunition deal.
Jawad Zarif said that Israeli attacks are carried out daily
in Palestine by Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and Syria.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is due to visit Iran on Sunday for
a one-day visit where he will hold talks with the Iranian leadership regarding
the talks between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
