There are free retail, then free shipping, and then come neighbors to beg for Wi-Fi passwords ... but this 25-year-old thief from France left everyone behind and showed up on the charge. Arrested for free to watch the TV channel for free as it is available to prison inmates to watch the channel for free.
In the suburbs of the French city of Toulouse, a young thief (anonymously) made a splash at various places and deliberately left clues that could easily be captured. Within a few days, the police arrested the young man and calmly confessed his crime to which he was jailed.
The thief's lawyer told French media that he was a young thief, but now he has deliberately arrested himself because he wants to watch France's famous channel "Canal Plus" for free. For ordinary citizens, this channel has a monthly subscription fee of 10 euros (1730 Pakistani rupees), which is significantly higher than other channels.
Being a frequent government guest, he knows that inmates in French prisons can watch this channel for free, saving up to 10 euros a month. The passion for watching Canal Plus for free was so intense that the young man deliberately arrested himself.
To be clear, this is not the first case of deliberate crime to go to jail. A few years ago, a man robbed himself of a dude by robbing a bank so he could stay away from his wife.
One such incident occurred earlier this year when a Florida resident confessed to police that he would like to go to jail instead of returning home to his wife. So much so that this is the first case of deliberately detaining yourself in the cycle of watching free channels.
