The renowned American singer and rapper Cardi B, during an
interview talking on 'Me To' launched a campaign against harassment of women,
revealed that he had been sexually assaulted during a magazine photo shoot.
The singer shared her bitter experience while speaking in an
episode of the show called Intended Stories of Hip Hop. Cardi B, 26, said she
will never forget the accident.
"I will never forget what happened that day, the
photographer was trying to get too close to me during the magazine photo shoot,
after which he touched me inappropriately," she said.
The singer said, 'I shouted at him and said,' Your brain is
damaged and gone from there '.
Cardi B declined to mention the magazine and the
photographer's name during this interview.
However, the singer said, "I was sad and surprised when
I found out that no action was taken against this photographer despite my
complaint, I complained to the owner of the magazine but he too Didn't pay any
attention to the matter.
"Now when I look at the campaign, I realize that other
girls have had similar incidents and people used to think that they were very
modest," Cardi B said in reference to the May 2 campaign.
