Instagram's new app "Threads" developed over Snap Chat

Facebook is now rolling out an application for Instagram that will prove to be its new weapon against Snapchat.

Facebook currently is the owner of the famous messaging application Messenger and WhatsApp, and now it is developing a similar application for Instagram that will be compared to Snap Chat. Threads "This messaging application will provide continuous communication between users and their close friends. That means users can share location, speed and battery life with their closest friends, while also sharing text, photo and video messages. The app will also be available. This app is designed for sharing with close friends on Instagram and Facebook is currently working on it.

The company believes that a messaging app that is used only to communicate with close friends will be more preferred, while also forcing its users to spend more time on the app than Snap Chat. Instagram has been trying to erase the popularity of Snapchat teens for years and is an attempt to avoid using an anti-threads app. Like Snap Chat, new app threads will automatically send updates to the close friends list.

Snap Chat was introduced this year in Snap Chat, which allows users to see where their friends are and similar features are being provided in the thread. Gone but it's likely to be introduced soon.
