India should take responsibility for human rights abuses in occupied Kashmir: US member Congress.

US Member of Congress Rashida Talib has called on the Indian government to accept responsibility for human rights abuses in occupied Kashmir.

In a tweet condemning the Indian government's over 40 days of lockdown in the occupied valley, US Member of Congress Rashida Talib has tweeted, "I urge the Indian government to consider human rights in occupied Kashmir." Take responsibility for the violations and punish those responsible.

Curfew and media communication in the valley should be banned so as to clarify the actual situation in occupied Kashmir.

Rashida Talib strongly condemns the cancellation of Article 370 and 35A in the occupied Kashmir by the Modi government, saying that I strongly condemn the cancellation of Article 370 and Article 35A, which banned media communication in the valley. Yes, life-saving medicine is lacking and human rights abuses are widespread.

The ban on media communication does not mean that Kashmiris are not in contact with their families, but it also means that the valley is facing a shortage of medicines and the people do not have basic medical facilities.

Rashida Talib said the reports make more than 3,000 people arrested under the Public Safety Act's black law without any crime. These include children, lawyers, doctors, Hurriyat leaders, religious leaders and political party leaders.

It should be noted that after the cancellation of Articles 370 and 35A in the Valley occupied by the Indian Government, the situation is very tense. More than 40 days have passed since the lockdown by the Modi government in the Valley has caused the Kashmiris to lose contact with the world.
