According to a police spokesman, more than 700 vehicles have been evacuated from the area so far, while traffic on major highways has also been cleared.
More than 500 families trapped during the snowfall in Murree have been evacuated. Several trees had also fallen due to the snowfall, which was removed from the roads.
Authorities say people have been rescued at the Kaldana site, but there are still reports of vehicles stranded on the fences.
It should be noted that 20 people have so far died in Murree due to being trapped in the snow.
