President Moon Jae-in and US President Joe Biden have agreed to develop a comprehensive strategy to deal with the North Korean issue.
The two leaders spoke on the phone for about half an hour on Thursday morning. This was the first phone call between the two leaders two weeks after Biden was sworn in. President Moon called on North and South Korea to work together on nuclear weapons and lasting peace. Joe Biden has assured close cooperation for these common goals. With one year left in President Moon's term, the two leaders also agreed to meet on the eve of the coup.
