The United States has formally withdrawn from an important agreement with the world



The United States formally withdrew from the Global Environment Agreement.


According to foreign media, after a three-year delay, the United States has finally become the first country to withdraw from the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, which was terminated by US President Donald Trump.


President Trump actually announced his withdrawal from the agreement in June 2017, after which the United Nations was formally notified last year, but to wait a year after being notified according to UN rules. By the way, this wait is over today, Wednesday.



The decision to withdraw from the agreement came into effect on a day when US elections were held just a day earlier, and today the victory of either candidate will be announced.
