Faisalabad: Driver killed for not stopping dumper

 

In Faisalabad, robbers opened fire on the resistance, killing one person and injuring two others, after which they managed to escape.

According to police sources, the incident took place on Shah Kot Road where three armed robbers tried to stop a dumper from returning but the driver did not stop the dumper and the robbers opened fire on it.

The driver of the dumper was killed on the spot while two of his companions were injured in the firing.

After the firing, the dacoits fled the scene while police and rescue personnel reached the spot and shifted the body and the injured to the hospital where an autopsy was conducted on the victim and medical aid was given to the injured.

Police have launched legal action and are trying to track down the robbers.
