A unit of Turkish special forces entered the town of Hadrut in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region, but was repulsed by the Armenian army.
Armenian media claimed that Turkish special forces were wearing black uniforms and aimed to hoist the Azerbaijani flag at Hadrut in light of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's claim.
Azerbaijan has said it considers France a neutral party, but said it wants to include Turkey in the ongoing conflict with Armenia. President Aliyev had said that the current ceasefire period would end with the exchange of prisoners.
