Internet searches and screen shots solved the murder mystery

Crime never goes unnoticed, no matter how cunning the killer may be, he or she must make a mistake that can lead to his or her capture. In the United States, a murderer was caught by the same police who had killed her husband.

In the US state of Indiana, police found the body of a 50-year-old man near his home in April, yet they have not been able to solve the murder.

However, her killer had searched for poisonous mushrooms on her mobile phone. Through the same internet search, the police reached the killer and she was none other than the victim's wife.

According to police, when they discovered the body, he had several cuts on his hands and tapes on his wrists and ankles, the remains of which were found by the police.

After a lengthy investigation, it was learned that the victim had died from eating poisonous mushrooms, some of the remains of which were still in his stomach.

A botanist told police that the poisonous component of the mushroom that caused the killing was effective for only 8 hours, after which the traces disappeared from the body after 72 hours. That is why it took time to find out the cause of death of the victim.

Five months after the body was found, police arrested the victim's wife. Police say the killer had searched for poisonous mushrooms on his mobile phone and had taken screenshots of some mushroom information.

A family friend of the victim had assisted his wife in the crime, he was also arrested by the police.

Police say the killer did not contact her after her husband's disappearance and did not file a missing person report. From here, police became suspicious and the murder mystery was finally solved.
